K'NEX Education's New Collectible sets make teaching with K'NEX more affordable than ever!
In addition to the K'NEX parts, each set includes a step-by-step instruction booklet for your students to follow as they build models of real-life machines and structures. The booklet also provides key facts and photos to help students link their models to the real world. Custom designed, stackable, compartmentalized storage cases solve classroom management issues. Each set is designed for groups of 2-3 students to work collaboratively on building and inquiry-based activities.
Teacher's guides, which are sold separately for the Intro to Structures: Bridges and the Intro to Simple Machines: Levers & Pulleys, Gears and Wheels, Axles & Inclined Planes sets, contain comprehensive lesson plans aligned to National Science Content Standards and ITEA's Standards for Technological Literacy.
The Discovery Building Set builds 20+ models and is a great introductory set for spatial 3D building. It can also be used as a central resource for group projects, supplementing existing K'NEX sets.
